October is here! I guess it has been here but I have been extremely busy. I love October. The weather is just perfect. Not hot and not cold. A happy medium. I wish it could always be that way. October has been busy for the Lott family. Both Bryceton and Kadence had spirit week at school. I tried to get a picture of Bryceton but he always rushed out the door before I could get moving around. Kadence loved pajama day, but doesn't really understand why she can't keep wearing pajamas to school, lol.
Isabella and Olivia were tested for day care. Olivia got in but Isabella didn't. This is upsetting for several reasons. 1, she is always crying to go to school, 2 the girls will be separated, and 3 I was looking forward to actually having some time for my self and to work on my bows. We are going to look into the ABC program here and get her on the waiting list for that. I should have just done that earlier but the job Blaine did have would not have allowed me to pick her up and you have to pick them up. Oh well she can be re-tested in 6 months. I just don't know how to tell her Olivia gets to go and she doesn't.
We started a new Sunday school at church. We love it! Cannot wait to learn more. I really believe we should be friends outside of church. I don't mean just saying hi when you see someone at Wal-mart or wherever. I mean when someone makes an effort to invite you to lunch, or play dates, or birthday parties, maybe they are reaching out and saying they need Christian friends to be a part of their lives and help them grow as a Christian. I didn't really grow up in church. I started going to FBC Lavaca at age 11, then moved at 15 and started going to a freewill Baptist then at 17 I just stopped. Church was just what we did on Wednesday and Sundays. It didn't hold any meaning for me then. Now it does and I tried to kinda just jump in and make friends but it is been difficult. Blaine and I have both felt completely out of place on more than one occasion. We struggle to come back now and not just turn and run but that is what satan wants. So I think the easiest jobs we can do, is to befriend new people, or people we don't know well. I know that is what Blaine and I will try to do.
I have been sick since about August, coughing congestion, etc. It just will not go away. Isabella had a little stomach virus this week. She was soo sick she wouldn't even eat candy :( She recovered fully on Thursday.
Kadence's 5th birthday party is today at Chuck E Cheese (her actual bday is the 19th). She is all sorts of excited. I am glad so many of my friends are coming. It means a lot to me because I don't have any family. None of our family will be there. My dad has never came to one of her parties because it's always during hunting season. He rarely comes to others but he has came a few times. Not to Kadence's though. Hunting is what he loves :) I know my mom would love to be here. She never got to meet Kadence, and it is hard to watch Kadence grow up into such a beautiful and sweet little girl, just full of sharing and loving, knowing my mom will never know her.
Well so many things to do goody bags, wrapping presents making bows, so I am off :)
october is one of my favorites as well! your girls are absolutely adorable! Hope little Kadence has a very happy 5th birthday! :)
