2011? Already!

Wow time has really flown by these last 10 years. I haven't had much time to blog since last time, but with the help of many wonderful friends and customers I was able to get the money to go get Madison for Christmas, yay!

The kids couldn't have had a better Christmas thanks to some really awesome people. I don't know who all played what part, but I am so grateful they did. We are still doing a "Christmas" from us in January because I really wanted to get them some things this year but that just didn't happen. I have wanted to re do their room because they have colored and marked on the walls. And they also need some new clothes. Especially Kadence, since she is the oldest here. No one to get hand me downs from. Isabella and Olivia get the hand me downs so they are usually set but I'd like to get them all a few things for summer and the rest of winter.

Madison was only here a week but it was a great week. I always get very sad and depressed when she has to go. I really rely on my friends during this tough time to help me stay positive and focus on the good. God has a wonderful plan for me and I know Madison too!

I got some quality time this week with 2 of my dear friends so that meant a lot too.

I am looking forward to a new year, hopefully a fresh start on some things. My 10 year high school reunion is coming up. Cant say I am excited about that, but it should be interesting at least. I hope everyone else had a wonderful Christmas and has a safe New Year. Me and the kiddos will be home tonight and Blaine has to work.

Awwwwww

Okay I deleted the last post just because I wouldn't want him to use it against me ever if he found it. And sometimes it is hard to know who to trust, but I didn't say anything in that blog that I wouldn't or haven't already said in court, because it is true.

I also don't want to have to make this private so others can read about it. You never know when someone reading your story could be a blessing to them. Maybe someone else misses their daughter too and needs a friend. Or just found out they are expecting their 5th child and stressed and my funny stories can lift them up. Or they see that through everything I have been through, and it's a lot more than most of you even know, that I still praise God and know He has a great plan for me.

So If I feel the need to rant maybe Ill make a private note on my fb lol.

Tonight my very first real friend came by with her husband. I have known her since 3rd grade and we had a lot of great times together back then. My moving around we lost touch a bit but always managed to find our way back :) She found me a few years ago on myspace and we have kept in touch since. She has really been here for me recently and words cannot say how I appreciate it. A few weeks ago I was having a bad night and she called to check on me when really she was at my door, with a coke icee (my fav!) in hand, coming to cheer me up.

She has never complained about doing anything for me, and she will do anything she can. She will watch the kids for us. She was going to take Blaine to the ER when he hurt his foot but he just decided to go ahead and go. She drives out here all the time to visit. She goes to the store with me so I dont have to handle the kids alone.

Anyway tonight her and her husband came down and brought all the kids a present, something that they had really wanted. I was so grateful, they have no idea. It was the sweetest thing. They have lots of family they have to buy for, and yet they still chose to get my kids something.

Blaine and I talked it over a few weeks ago when I was stressing about what would happen to the kids if we died. We decided that Tiffany and Travis would make the best adoptive parents we know. They don't have kids of their own. Personal issues, but would love some. Tiffany worked in day cares for years, baby sits all the time. Isabella has already taken to Travis. She cried the first time she met him and he had to go. She did not want him to go. Tonight she sat by him and played with him all night. They did a puzzle together and watched tv, she said he was her new daddy lol. Shhh I won't tell Blaine that part ;) Just kidding she loves Blaine too and said now she has 2 daddies! Tiffany said Aunt and uncle so hopefully that will stick.

But if anything did happen to us it would be a honor to me for the kids to call them mom and dad also. Because I know in my heart they would love them and care for them as if they were their own.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

Christmas Christmas Time of year.....

Tonight I gave the girls a bath and we went to the parade and I talked to them about Christmas and what it's about and why we celebrate. Kadence wanted to know that if Christmas is Jesus's Birthday, when was God's? LOL! We sang their songs for the Christmas program next Sunday night and I read them "Joy to the World: The story of Christmas". So many questions like where are the angels? What is a manger? Is that a donkey or a cow? Who else is in the sky with God and Jesus? Was Jesus alive when he was killed? " On and on. It was so cute and encouraging to see them eager to learn about the Lord. There is so much they do not understand but neither do I and time will teach them more. I just wish I had grown up with a Godly family and knowing more than I do. I have to admit I am learning with them. But it is so important to me they grow up in church and with a love for God like no other. I don't want to make my parent's mistakes and my children suffer for it.

Anyway I hope everyone else has a Merry Christmas and that if you are also going through a hardship, I pray for you and know God will make a way for you in His time.

Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
