A lot of Lotts: Happy Birthday Kadence Faith

Five years ago today I was just having my water broken by Dr. Melissa Rainwater. I was actually meant to be induced on the 18th by the Dr. forgot to schedule the room for me. I really wanted her born the 18th. Four years later my grandmother passed away (a year ago yesterday) on the 18th. It wouldn't have felt much like a celebration had Kadence been born that day. God sure knows what He is doing.

My labor with Kadence was fairly smooth as far as labor goes. The delivery was more difficult, Kadence was in the occiput posterior position, or facing up. This makes delivery more difficult for some reason and so it was hard to bring her into the world. But on October 19, 2005 at 12:26pm we welcomed 8 pound 4 ounce Kadence. She had meconium so we were worried but she was okay. Raising her has been easy. She was a good baby, a great toddler, and a sweet child. We have loved watching her grow. Smart, beautiful, silly, sweet, caring, giving, and full of love. I cannot wait to see who she becomes as she gets older.

Her birthday party was awesome!!! So many great friends came. It was the first time she got to invite someone from school, 2 sweet girls from her class came. Guests were Alyssa and her mom Jamie, Baily and her mom Boogie and dad Guy, Sheryl with Shayla and Liberty, Savannah with her mom Nicole, Shanda and Maddie, Brent, Amber, and Kenzleigh, Jennifer with her 3 Dakota, Devon, and Victoria. Then mom and dad with all of ours haha!

She got pet shop every where! She loves animals and pets and caring for them and she wanted a Littlest Pet Shop party so that is what she got. So many great new pets and even a giant club house for them. She loved everything. We greatly appreciate all the thoughtful gifts :)

Her cake was amazing! We got it from Takes the Cake by Brooke. Looked great, tasted great, smelled even better! The kids had pizza, played games, won prizes, danced, and Kadence did the ticket blaster and got over 500 tickets :) All in all it was a great day! And we thank God for allowing us to be there and blessing us with such a sweet baby girl
