Me Me Me

Today was just another day I guess. Nothing interesting has been going on. Michael came home on Monday. We met him at the airport, and I almost cried when I saw Madison’s face light up and get so excited. She grabbed onto his neck and would not let go. She missed him so much. Bryceton and Madison went home with him, so I finally got a little peace and quiet. Got some homework done but more than that housework. I can always tell when I am truly pregnant because the nesting thing kicks in. I took all 4 of our kitchen chairs apart, so I could take the mesh seats and back off and wash them, then put them all back together. Then I took the glass top off the table, and cleaned it till I could see myself in it.  It hadn’t been cleaned like that since right before Kadence was born.

My cravings have arrived. Blaine noticed it before I did. I have been on a meat thing. Which I knew would happen, because I rarely eat meat so my body really needs it. But this time, instead of steak, it’s chicken. I really do not like chicken, but I have ate it 4 times this week.  Also tuna fish. I was really craving a tuna fish sandwich, so I got all the stuff to make that, and then, pumpkin pie! I bet I was younger than 13 the last time I had it. Now I need it! So I bought this little kit that makes 6 mini pumpkin pies, and a can of whip cream and made them tonight. MMmmmm   mmmmmmm good!  School is school. I am already tired of getting up early, but it’s the price I have to pay if I want a good life for my family. No morning sickness, which leads me to believe we are having a girl. I never had morning sickness with my girls. This is totally unscientific, like saying heartburn means your baby is going to have lots of hair (LOL) My girls are living proof that that’s a lie! I was just making an observation, not like I am going to go sell all my boy stuff.  Another note,  I haven’t picked a doctor yet. And to be honest, I am not looking forward to finding one. The only one I have ever liked moved back to Kansas right before Madison was born and I have yet to find someone to fill his shoes. I am very picky about my doctors, and there are a few things I look for, number one being hand size....go ahead and laugh, but I am serious! Big hands in there does not feel good.  Second is the ability to get personal with you. Know you, know your partner/husband. I don’t want someone to have to read my name off the chart to know who I am.  I want someone who gets down on my level. Maybe I am asking too much, but Dr. Nguyen spoiled me, and I have never found another like him.  And female doctors are by far the worse! They compare you to their pregnancy experiences, and aren’t nearly as sympathetic as men. But also, another reason I am not in a rush to find a Dr. is because I want to wait for my first ultrasound until I am far enough along to tell the sex. That is around 17-20 weeks, depending on the technician.

Well I guess that is all that is going on around here.  Oh and we have picked our names.
If it’s a boy, we will call him Abel Mathius (pronounced ma thigh us)
And for a girl Rowan Serenity.  And if it happens to be twins, Blaine will have to name them, because I will hang myself right after the birth...lol.

Our Weekend

Well Friday on my way to school the radio station was giving away Cheyenne Kimble concert tickets. I won them and he told me to pick them up AROUND 5 pm. Not BEFORE 5, but around 5. I sat here all day waiting until it got close to 5, went to get them, and guess what? They closed AT 5 and the doors were locked and I couldn’t get them.

SO we took the kids to the fair, and while we were there, asked the station about the tickets. He said I would have to wait until Monday to pick them up, but see, the concert was for Saturday night. So we were pretty angry about that. But we bought the kids armbands and took them on all the kiddie rides. They had a blast, and I enjoyed the food! Especially the pickles! They have the best and biggest pickles, and I have been craving them since Friday, but I am not going back to the fair just for pickles, as bad as I want to. It started raining around 9 so we left. Came home and put the kids to bed, and we played x-box. Then spent all day Saturday and Sunday doing the same thing. We were going to go see a movie, but we are both kinda sick and didn’t feel like it. Sunday we took all the kids out to Fire Mountain for lunch. It was really good. They had pumpkin pie, and I had 2 pieces!

Today Michael came home, and we met him at the airport. I was so happy to get a break from the kids, but I had to drive him some pull ups for Madison down there after I took Blaine to work.

We have to pay for a lawyer, that was totally unexpected. Robert said he was just asking for standard visitation, and I wasn’t going to get a lawyer for that, but for him to be asking to claim her on HIS income tax, there is no way! Blaine and I support her, and she lives with us, not him...so there goes 450 bucks that we could have used for other things like, oh I dunno, food, gas, electric, even RENT! Our rent is 485, which isn’t bad for 3 bedrooms, but when you have all this other stuff added to it, it really kills you. Then Kadence’s first birthday is coming up, and after that, Blaine’s birthday the next month, then Christmas. It never stops! Oh yeah, and today I found out that since my math class is split up into different sections, and I passed into the next section, I need a new book and by WEDNESDAY! Because I have homework to turn in. I am really stressed out about money right now. I just don’t know how we are going to make it through this next month. But one thing I do know is God will provide a way. Not that I deserve for Him to with the way I put Him on the back burner, but He will just the same. So hopefully a miracle will arise, but I just don't see that happening. If anyone wants to give me a late birthday present, just send money, lol!

Oh, and I made a 88% on that math final,  so there goes the "A" streak, but I still have an A in the class itself. I’ll get my psychology test grade tomorrow.
Hope everyone else had a good weekend, and I hope your week is going better than mine! At least I have my Nip/Tuck and Grey’s Anatomy to look forward to.

How Odd

So, No one in my psychology class knows I am pregnant. I don’t really think it’s cool to scream to about 50 people you don’t know, "Hey, I’m having a baby!" LOL. Well today this girl that usually sits two rows over sat by me. She was saying her back had been hurting her, and she didn’t know why. I told her it could be from her breasts. Then she says well, she just found out she and her husband were having a baby, and thought that might be it. I told her how I had just found out too, and asked her due date. She said May 3, which is my due date too. How odd is that? Also that happens to be my best friends birthday. Of course that is just going by my period, and an ultrasound will tell me a better date when I get to that point. But still it was unusual. She said her sister also found out on the same day she did, that she and her husband were having a baby too. Must be an epidemic. Look out chicks, the pregnancy fairy is coming for you!

In other news, I made a 96% on my Medical Terminology test yesterday, and I’ll find out what I made on my math test tomorrow. I am glad for the "A" streak, but I am angry with myself for missing two, when I had just took more time to read over the question instead of rushing, I wouldn’t have missed them. Oh well it’s my own fault. So Grey’s Anatomy was awesome tonight. Just like with Nip/Tuck, it’s going to be an interesting season. Well since I haven’t been in chat, my house has been cleaner than ever! Amazing how not sitting on your butt for 8 or more hours helps with that. Man what was I thinking? I used to spend all my free time there. Now I get my homework done, my house cleaned, watch my favorite shows, cook, and even have time to play with the kids. It’s great. I am just glad I only wasted one year of my life doing it, instead of 5 or more. But on the down side to that, the kids are wearing on my nerves. I find myself counting to ten a lot. Especially on nights like tonight. In case you didn’t know, we are trying to potty train Madison. She gets the concept, she loves her barbie and Dora panties, but she only wants to use the potty when she wants to,
and that becomes a problem. Like tonight for instance..She wanted to poop in the potty, and so I helped her in there, and waited for about 5 minutes, and she didn’t want to get up. So I said ok, tell momma when you're done so I can wipe you. She hollers for me about 5 minutes later, I go in to poop all over the toliet seat, and her bending over with her butt in the air so I can wipe her. The poop on the seat happens everytime because she slides off instead of using the stool. I get tired of cleaning it up, but what can you do?

After we washed our hands, I went to pick her pull up off the floor, and stepped in poop that she had gotten on the rug! UGH! I threw it in the washer and washed my foot. Finally feeling the pooping was over today, I get on here to write this, and before I can change my font, Bryceton says there is poop in his room. WHAT! From who I say? And he says Madison. So I go to investigate. Thanks to her drinking apple juice all day ( she sneaked them herself) there was poop, and not just any poop, but it looked like someone had emptied a port-a-potty in her panties. It was running down her legs, it was in the floor in Brycetons room, her room, and the hall. It smelled awful. I took her to their bathroom, ran her third bath today, and put her in and made her stay while I gathered up rugs, clothes, the safety gate, stuffed animals, and the fabric off her princess chair that was covered in the poop. WATERY POOP. Mopped the bathroom floor, and then got the carpet cleaner, and hot water and about 10 washcloths to scrub the carpet. All the while I am cleaning it up, Kadence is screaming in protest at being put in her crib. What she saw as an injustice, I saw as keeping her out of the poop until I could get it all cleaned up. MAN. I am done with potty training. If she wants to use it fine, but she will not be wearing big girl panties until she can go all day without an accident in her pull ups. Michael will be back Saturday or Sunday and he can help. I just can’t handle any more messes like that right now. I really thought I was going to end up cleaning my own vomit up.
Well, I guess that’s all in my crazy life. And just think, Jodi, and Jade, and Erica, and anyone else who has a child under 3....This is what you get to look forward too! So, Don’t be laughing too hard....

Good Surprises :D

Well today is my birthday. It was a pretty good day all in all. I had already got my presents, as I said in my other blog, so I wasn’t expecting anything. But when I woke up at 6 this morning, there were roses, pumpkin pie potpourri (my fave smell) and 2 cards from Blaine on the coffee table. So he had to have gone out after I went to bed, which was 2 am, and got them while I was asleep. Talk about a sweet surprise! Then when I got home, he went to wal-mart to get diapers, and came back with a huge cake! He had ordered it a week ago, and it had pink roses, my favorite color! And at school, a girl had bought a cake for me and our teacher too. So I had cake twice today. It was good day. I got 4 cards in the mail. From my Ya-Ya, Blaine’s grandma, Blaine’s mom, and my best cousin, Smelanie! (hee hee) Makes me feel good that they remembered. Anyways I took a bunch of pictures, and some of Kadence in her care bear costume, and with all her care bears....so enjoy!
My flowers and cards from Blaine. 18 roses and 2 carnations

My cake with candles lit (24)

Blaine (who needs to shave) taking the candles out.

Kadence. She is so cute in that thing.

                                            She is so excited!

                                   She has so many carebears!

                                  Kadence and Good Luck bear.

                                                      Awweeee!

                                           She tried to escape!

                                            Poo poo and her blanket.

Oh Baby!!!

So it seems that Erica isn’t the only one with good news. How odd, us, trying to get pregnant for  months, then deciding to wait, and now we are, at the same time.....well not the exact same time, but you know what I mean. Yes, Blaine and I are having a baby. He wants a girl, I want a girl, but with 3 bedrooms, a boy would be best. All that matters to me is the baby is healthy and looks like me...lol.  So I must admit that I am really surprised because I honestly thought it wouldn’t  happen.

So for the past two days, I have just been crying my eyes out for no reason at all. Finally I thought I was having an emotional breakdown. Then tonight I just decided maybe, just maybe I should take a test to be sure. Called up Sheryl, and had her pick two up...and sho nuff! Anyways I am so happy!

The World is Full of Jerks

Well, how is everyone doing? I guess we are doing ok. My birthday is coming up, but I already got my present. A new Blazer, a license plate that says "Blaine & Angela"  , a new 19" flat screen monitor, a new printer/scanner so I can print my school work, and tons of clothes and shoes. We are not going to Tulsa now. The reason is because our sales tax to get our tags is $611!!! I hate the government sometimes. But we decided it would be a nice idea to go for our one year wedding anniversary. So that’s what we will do.

School is good. I thought I failed my psychology test because there were more than half the questions on there that she didn’t discuss or tell us to study. She gave us a ten point bonus question, and with my score and the bonus, I made a 104%. I was like, wow! So that means my test’s so far have been all A’s. But I am sure it is going to get harder. Today was a sad day kind of. I had the curling iron on while I was putting my makeup on, and Kadence came in the bathroom with me, then she went out, and I guess she sneaked back in and I didn’t notice, and she pulled the cord of the curling iron, I heard it move and tried to grab her as it fell, but I wasn’t quick enough. It got the whole top of her right arm. Poor baby. I called her doctor, I was so scared because none of my kids have ever been burned before besides a little sunburn. I didn’t know what to do. So they told me to bring her in. He said it would all heal, and that it happens a lot to a lot of people, and that I need to bring her back in on Monday and he is going to remove the dead skin so it can heal faster. And he gave her Tylenol with codeine. Poor poor little poo poo. I felt so bad about it all day long. But she doesn’t seem to notice it.

What else? Ummmm oh! Bean is getting me a ticket to Staind for my birthday, that should be awesome. Her birthday is 2 days before the concert, and I am not sure what to get her....Wal-mart already has their Halloween stuff out. I wanted to get the kids costumes before all the good ones were taken. Bryceton wanted to be a vampire, Madison is going to be a pirate, and Kadence will wear Madison’s old Cinderella one from 2 years ago. I finally got a giant Lucky bear for Kadence. She has 2 of those net things full of Carebears, and then 2 big ones in her crib, and some others that won’t fit in the nets, and a care-a-lot castle with 14 little bears, and some other stuff. I want to surround her with them all and take some pictures, but I don’t want to have to put them back in the net.

*EDIT* I also got a brand new vacuum cleaner because even though the one I had was only a year old, it got really messed up and is constantly getting clogged because of the new carpet. You know you are a wife and/or mom when you are excited about getting a vacuum for your birthday! LoL!

Grand Weekend!

Well I have had a good weekend if I do say so myself.
I made a 98 on my math test too. Then I called the school to see exactly when my loan would be mailed out, and they looked up my ss # and said it had already been mailed out. So I waited for it all Saturday, but it didn’t come. I was so looking forward to going shopping for new school clothes. My best best best friend Sheryl had already gotten her check and she knew how disappointed I was. So she said we could go shopping and whatever I spend just pay back to her when my check came in.

We ate at Friday’s first. Then headed to the mall. I bet we were there about 5 hours. From store to store trying stuff on. I must say that even though Vanity is my favorite store, Maurice’s should be voted most helpful. That girl followed us all over the store taking everything we picked out to the dressing room, and finding us different sizes or whatever we wanted while we were in there trying the stuff on.  I found these wonderful Jessica Simpson brown heels that I am going back for. The reason I didn’t get them then was because I felt I had spent enough of Sheryl’s money..... including dinner and a movie. We had a lot of fun! We watched The Wicker Man though, and it was freaking weird. Not scary, not "wow that was a great movie" but weird. It wasn’t your average ending, even though I had guessed the ending it was like, WOW, I can’t believe that.

Anyways was a great day. I got to do my favorite thing (shop) with my favorite friend. When I got home I modeled all my clothes for Blaine, and there was a shirt he didn’t like, a pair of shoes he didn't like, and one pair that they had given me the wrong size, and an under shirt I picked out that wasn’t in the bags. So I went back to the mall Sunday to exchange that stuff, and took Madison with me. We had fun too. But we got there early and not all the stores were open. Actually none of the three I needed to go to were open. So Madison and I sat down on a bench to wait. A little while later this family came and sat in the massage chairs and they had a little girl that was just a little bit older than Madison. She climbed on the bench behind us, and her and Madison stood up facing each other and talked. This is how the conversation went.
Madison: "hi, see my shirt" and pulls up her shirt.
Little girl: "what’s your name? my name is Jacklyn. I got a shirt too. It’s a different color than yours."
Me: "her name is Madison"
Little girl: (lifts up her shirt) "See I got a belly button"
Me: " a belly button! yep you do"
Little girl: (pulls DOWN her shirt) "And I got titties too!"
Me: (laughing my butt off) hahahahahahhahahaha

Anyways it was so funny. Her parents were really embarrassed but it was the best entertainment I had all day. Then we came home, and I spent the day with Blaine. I did my homework, and then we watched Ella Enchanted,  and went to bed...It was a grand weekend. I guess that’s all for now. I have to study the rest of the day I have a test in Psychology tomorrow. Wish me luck!
