Dun Dun Dunnnnnnnn

Well I finally got the girls room done. It took me over a week man! (or men!) Bryceton’s took Blaine and I about 2 days but neither of us was working at the time. Now we both are so I did a little each night when I got off, until I got everything done that I could do. Then I had to wait until last weekend to get Blaine to help me finish because I am not tall enough to do the wall paper. So I got down to the last wall, and ran out of paint. No big deal, I took my little color card to Wal-mart and had them mix me up another batch. Got to painting, and it was about 2 shades darker. 

So I said who cares and we will have 3 light walls, and 1 dark one. Then wall paper time came. Got 2 sides done, and realized we weren’t going to have enough. Go to Wal-mart and guess what? They discontinued that design. So I had to buy Disney princess, and it doesn’t stick well, so I bought some paste stuff to put behind it as well. Got that done, and it didn’t look too weird.

Started painting the trim purple, and got down to that last wall again. I think we should call it the bad luck wall. We were letting the first coat dry on it, and all we would have had to do was give it another coat and be done! Well silly us though Kadence was distracted enough by Elmo, and we went about taking care of the baby. I was changing Isabella’s diaper when Kadence comes running into the living room covered in purple paint! We run into the bedroom to find it is ALL over the pink wall, the carpet, and the WHITE walls in the hall....and dripped along the carpet in the hall....I wanted to die!

We had to repaint the pink wall, and well if you ever got paint on carpet, you know that is a losing battle. We are just going to have to have it replaced sometime. As for the hall, well we have a nice purple smear mess. and I just don’t want to paint the hall. So it can stay for now. Call it "modern art". I took some pictures and here they be. Our Lil Isabella

Well I won’t pretend to be an excellent scanner, because I’m not. BUT We got Isabella’s pictures back finally. I had to wait an extra week because we had one they made horizontal and I needed it vertical for my wall to match the other kid’s pictures at one month. And I am so glad I did because the new one turned out even better than the first one! And now I can finally send out my thank you cards from my baby shower! Sorry they are late, but hey stamps are expensive now days! I will be posting another blog soon on what’s all been going on and the girls’ room pictures if we ever get it done. Kadence sat us a back a little bit. . Anyhow, here she is.

This one is also not one of my favorites, I asked them if they could let me order more sheets of a different pose and give them this one back, but they said it would be 6 more weeks so I said forget it. She wasn’t looking up on the computer screen when I ordered it. OH WELL!

Sometimes You Feel Like a Nut.....

Well nothing new to report on the dog situation. We are just waiting on our lawyer to try and work it out with the prosecutor. I really hope he gets it dismissed. Stupid jerk poopy face neighbors! But it’s alright they will get theirs. I called the Sheriff’s office on them last night, tee hee hee. For shooting fireworks. Even though all the rest of the neighborhood was doing it, I just had to call on them because "my kids were trying to sleep". Jerks, that will teach them to lie to us. I’ll ruin 4th of July for them every year from here on out. Even if we decide to go off somewhere, I’ll call on them. I didn’t give my name or address, just their address, hee hee.

SO I may have some good news. Well of course I am just working part time at that Cafe. It’s pretty decent money, not great but worth getting up. It has helped us out a little to have cash around when we need it and not have to wait for a check. Anyway, a guy comes in there at least once a week, and he wears a trucking company shirt. I was talking to him and asked if they needed a secretary or anything up there, and to my surprise, he said he did need someone part time. He owns the company and wanted me to talk to his main secretary when I got off at the cafe and see if she could use me, and what days and all that. So I went by there and talked to her, she seemed to want me, asked me to fill out an application and tried to see what days and times I could work. Well I don’t really want to quit the Cafe, and both jobs are part time, so we are going to try and do MWF from 8 to 5 there, and T TH Sat at the Cafe. I will probably only work every other Saturday at the Cafe though because it’s the biggest money making day and the owner’s girlfriend will want to work it sometimes too.

 Then I called a daycare in Lavaca owned by Michael’s Aunt’s sister, and she said she would watch all 4 kids from 2:30 pm (when Blaine drops them off) until Michael and I get there, for only $20 a day. Michael gets off at 4:30, and I will get off at 5 from the secretary job, and they won’t have to go on Tuesdays and Thursdays. So hopefully all this works out and I’ll be working my butt off and taking care of kids. Jesus help me! But you gotta do what you gotta do. I am tired of us being broke, I am tired of his grandma bailing us out, and I am tired of not having money put back for emergencies. So please if you pray, pray for me to get this job and it all work out, and pray for a better paying job for Blaine to come along. If you don’t pray, just keep us in your thoughts.

In other news we went to the mall yesterday, and Kadence got her ears pierced, well at Wal-mart not at the mall. She did soooo good. Sat still, probably because she didn’t know what was coming, and just cried for a second. Seriously she cries more when she gets shots. And they look so cute! I took some pictures yesterday of her and Izzy. My lil babies! I’ll post them here shortly. Congrats to Holly on her big baby boy! I can’t wait to see pictures! let me know what is new with all of you!
