Ticked Off

Why? Why is it always SOMETHING? Why can’t for once everything go the way you need it to? I am so angry, and stressed, and tired that I just can’t take it any more. Well like I said in my last blog, we had to spend all my student loan on bills. We were 370 bucks overdrawn in our account, and the last of the money we had was $400 and we were going to deposit it Friday.

About 2:45 pm I found out that all Blaine’s W2’s were in and we could do our taxes. We usually do that rapid refund thing because we want our money now, and need it now. Last year we went to H&R Block and it cost us $500 to get it back in one day or less. We were like wow! But we needed it right then to pay the deposit for this apartment and all that stuff, so we did it. We decided this year we weren’t going to go there. So I told Blaine, if he would for sure get up early on Monday and go do the taxes in 1 day or less, then we could just wait to cover our over drafts and go ahead and go to his mom’s like we have been planning for months. He said yeah.

So we leave Friday at midnight because Blaine had to go to work, with 3 kids loaded up in their pj’s. Before we got out of Ft. Smith, Bryceton and Madison were fast asleep. Kadence? Ummm no...she screamed and cried the whole way down there. I tried to sleep against the window, and every time I dosed off, she went to screaming again. I was tired and uncomfortable, so I asked Blaine to get a motel room about 3:30 in the morning. Cost us $62 of our food and gas money and the beds were hard as a rock. Seriously the hardest bed I have ever slept on. The floor would have been more comfortable. And they were small. Try squeezing a fat guy, a fat, pregnant girl, and a wiggling baby in a small bed. Wasn’t happening. So Madison came to sleep with me and Poo Poo and Blaine slept with Bryceton. Or rather, we tried to sleep. Kadence still kept waking up every hour or so crying. She knew she wasn’t home and I knew we should have been! So at 9 am the kids are up all bright eyed and bushy tailed. All 3 of em! Ugh...so I woke Blaine up and went to the dollar store to get some shampoo and soap. We didn’t plan on staying anywhere besides his mom’s so I didn’t think we would need it.

We Left at 10:35 am and stopped at Hardees for lunch. Where I found not only one,but TWO hairs in my burger. Gag...so we left. Oh, and I forgot to mention that at the hotel when I went to change Madison, all the pull ups I had packed for her were gone out of her bag. Blaine was like "I saw her carrying some out of our bedroom" So she took them all out before we had left. Luckily we had one in the car for emergencies, but as soon as we got to El Dorado at noon we had to go to Wal-mart to buy more. Which costs us more unexpected money. We finally got to his mom’s and then we opened Christmas presents. I got Bryceton a Lightening McQueen car that makes noises and sounds and stuff, Madison a bath time Cinderella doll with water color changing tablets, and Poo Poo a big Elmo that says "Elmo loves you, and hug me" and stuff and his eyes light up in the shape of hearts. We got his sister a HUGE makeup set with a purse, another make-up set with a pedicure set and a locker to store it all in, 5 lip gloss balls, a bath set with a hot pink shower radio, and a baby doll with a bag and bottle and stuff. We got his brother a basketball goal and ball for the tub, a bath set, a bath paint set, a green car with rims and it plays music and makes noise, and a big train caboose thing filled with legos.

Now when I say "we" got it, I mean I did. Blaine doesn’t shop, lol.  Then we left there and went an hour to Louisiana to his grandmothers, where she had some good gifts waiting for them. The she left for work at 9:30 that night. We decided to stay the night there since she wouldn’t be home till morning. She got me and Blaine a lamp for our living room, me a maternity shirt, some make-up and some smell goods like lotion and spray. She got Blaine 2 awesome shirts, a big bath set that is coconut, (but she doesn’t know he HATES coconut, lol, so I'm gonna use it.) and something else I can’t remember....She got Madison a cabbage patch newborn, her first one ever! and a little prayer frog. Bryceton got a car that does tricks and flips and has rechargeable batteries and a sucker that had a toy attached that you try to get a basketball in the net. it got thrown out of the window on the way home because I was trying to sleep and he kept making noise with it after I told him to stop. I know I’m mean! And Poo Poo got a prayer bear, and a pig that has little blocks that you put into the right shapes. Cute!

Kadence refused to go to bed, cried and cried the whole time. About 11:30 Blaine took her in the den and rocked her to sleep so I could sleep. They came to bed at 2 something and she finally fell asleep for good. The bed was small and we were uncomfortable. I woke up at 6:30 am and I tried to make Blaine get up so we could go but he wouldn’t budge. Then about 45 minutes later his grandma woke him up and he got up. We all got dressed and headed back to his mom’s. Sat there for a little bit and left about 12:30 to go home. I was so tired. Blaine was tired, we had spent a lot of our money on gas and high price snacks and drinks for the trip. I just wanted to get home. We had been planning on eating at Ruby Tuesday in Russellville on the way back because we had never ate there. I wanted to stop in Conway and change the girls diapers, and brush their hair and let me and Bryceton pee before we got there. I asked Blaine to go to wal mart and he’s like why?
I said because the men's bathroom usually has a changing thing too, and we can each change one, and be faster.
So we go to wal mart and he drives up ONE aisle and can’t find a parking spot so he gets all ticked off, starts to yell and cuss "I don't see why u had to come here, why not go to a gas station, whine whine whine"
So I was like, "fine go to a gas station you big baby"
So he goes, and we get there, and it has 2 very small stalls and a changing table right in the way, everyone and their mama, and daughters and granddaughters had to pee, it was small and crowded, and Kadence screamed the whole time I tried to change her. The hand dryer was RIGHT there beside me, and kept going off on my back while I tried to change her making me all hot and ticking me off more. Then, people just standing around in there watching me...
So when I got her done, I opened the door to give her to Blaine so I could change Madison and he’s not out there. I call and call for him, getting more ticked. And woman are asking if I'm "in line" When it’s obvious I am using the changing table. I go back in set Poo Poo down on floor to help Madison, and she screams and screams more because there are people scaring her, all crowded around her, staring at us. Then she lays on the floor, and looks under the stalls. I was just so angry and stressed that I started crying right there in the store.
All this could have been avoided if he had just went to wal mart....I just wanted to go home. Then we ate and spent all but 20 bucks we had. Stopped in Ozark for gas and spent that 20 bucks, took the kids to Michael’s to play with Meeka for a little bit and then came home. I took a hot bath and went to bed man. I was tired. Blaine stayed up till midnight then he went to bed. That’s early for him. I got up at 7:30 to go to school came home at 10, and he was in his boxers, the girls in their pj’s and still in bed, not fed or changed like I asked him to have done when I woke him up at 8:15 to be ready so we could go do our taxes. He’s all grouchy all day. Yelling and cussing and being a jerk.

We go to do our taxes at this lady’s office that my dad used to work for. She says we can save over 300 bucks if we wait one day, and it could possibly be in that day but they can’t promise, but it would be the next day for sure. (Which would be today)So as much as I hate waiting, I said I would. She said call back at 3 and if it’s not there then it would be no later than 10 am today. I called the reality office and they said our floors weren’t schedule to go in until Friday, so I could go ahead and paint the bedrooms now before they do the floors. They painted them, but I only got to pick from off-white, tan, white, or tanner, lol. I don’t care about the rest of the house but I wanted the bedrooms unique. So I thought it would be awesome to do it before they did the floors so I didn't have to worry about making a mess. So I didn’t go to school today so we could go cash the check and get paint and stuff, and pay some bills and all that. We get up there and she said Lynda wasn’t in yet check back at 11. We went and looked around at some furniture places looking for a new bed to kill some time. Called at 11 and she said she hadn’t checked her email yet to see if the bank approved it and that it would be about 30 minutes.

Called back at noon, she was "busy"...Now I am just MAD. So I said let’s go up there, and you tell them, look we paid extra to get it back in one day and it’s been over 24 hours...etc. So he goes in, and comes out and says it is gonna be 2 weeks now, and for me to go in there and talk to her and see why. By this time I start to cry. Our gas tank is now on E from all the driving around we did to kill time. I’m hungry,Blaine’s hungry. the girls are hungry and I missed school for this crap. We had 1 dollar man! ONE! So I go in and she says the bank had sent her something saying we couldn’t be approved for the fast service. So she said she would call them and find out why. Well it is because this is the first year we claimed married. Last year we weren’t married yet when we did taxes, so whenever you have a status change for the first time, they have to verify stuff like if I have outstanding student loans or owe back child support or whatever. BUT we didn’t know this! Or we wouldn’t have went to his mom’s and spent all our money. So I didn’t know what we we’re gonna do.

She says it will be in next Thursday, but I have to get to school all this week and next. But thankfully Sheryl is going to let us borrow some. Man I don’t know what we would do without her. This just really sucks. Everything always happens like this. It’s just so....so....frustrating! I still think if we had went to H&R Block it wouldn’t have happened. That lady says no bank would do it, but I don’t believe her...We don’t plan on going back there next year. I hate life sometimes. :(

Git-R-Done!!!!

So much has been going on this week. Sorry if I haven’t answered your messages or whatever. First, my check came in Tuesday for my student loan. BUT They held over 500 of it until I start my late class later this semester. Ticks me off. So we can’t afford to go to Blaine’s moms, or do some of the other things we wanted to do or pay. But we got our tags finally. $620 bucks! As much as I hate to see that money go, you don’t know what a relief it is to be driving around legally!

Then we paid 200 on a loan we had. Now we only owe 500 more, and we got a pay day advance so we could pay our rent, and that was 265, then the kids Christmas pictures were 150, and they have been in since Jan 9th, so I had to get them. Umm, electric bill, insurance, gas, paid the couches off finally!!! No more payments on that. So glad. Then I spent 150 on maternity clothes. UGH, I hate how expensive they are but I had nothing to wear to school. I got 6 shirts and 1 pair of dark brown cords. Oh and we were $400 over drawn in our bank account. So all my school money is gone, and that sucks. But I feel a lot less stressed now that people aren’t calling us, and coming by our apartment wanting their money. It will be even better with income tax because we will pay off 2 more things and pay a great deal on the credit card.

We went to see the house today. Man, they got their butts in gear. I took tons more pictures, and some stuff is hard to see because there isn’t any lights in yet. I  couldn’t get a picture of the kids bathroom at all because it doesn’t even have a window for sunlight to come through. But I got everything else. It’s really exciting to see the work in progress. Well I’ll stop rambling and put up the pictures. Let me know what you think. Oh and there are some pictures from the day we got the puppies.

She was so overwhelmed at first...

But she loved them!

They kind of attacked her...with slobber

Kissing each other...so cute!

I love them!!

Blaine wanted a kiss!

Our house yay!!!

Our room, looks smaller than it is. Just the way I was standing.

Blaine and Poo Poo in the living room. I think the men were painting the doors to the rooms and closets.

Garage with water heater closet.

Our closet. It’s a walk in, with racks and bars on both sides, and that shelf in the middle, which I love!!! I have a lot of shoes to put there.

This closet is also in our room, for towels and stuff I guess since it’s right next to our bathroom.

Our counter top. They had in standing in Blaine’s shower....

That space in front is where the dishwasher will go.

Stove will go on the left side, fridge on the right. All the appliances will be black to match the counter tops I picked out.

Look what they did to my bathtub....*cries* There will be tile around it.

Kitchen looking out to living room. That guy was in my way!

I tried to get the dining room door and windows, but it was dark :(

Linen closet in the kids hallway.

Bryceton’s closet

Hall view from Bryceton’s room to the girls room.

Bryceton’s room....

Another closet in the kids hall. I am loving the closet space.

Girls room and closet from the other side....

Girls room. Look at that stupid ditch out there. I hate it.

Living room looking towards the laundry room and our hall. And the bar.

One view of the living room.

Front porch. Looks a lot better!!

Living room looking toward the kids hall.

Side of the house, by the stupid ditch....look, siding and brick!!!

And one final view of the house. That guy was cutting more bricks, so it should be done soon!!! I can’t wait!

What do ya think???

Puppies and More

...So I have some good news I guess. The house is coming along fast. Already got the siding up. We don’t know what’s going on inside, but I am hoping to go have a look in a week or 2. Probably on our way back from Blaine’s family’s because we are coming back the long way to see Jodi, Josh and Kiah. Well my friends house is done now, and I thought they started hers just 2 weeks before ours. She says a month, but I really don’t think so. Because she was telling me they started hers, and not very long after telling me ours was started. Either way, if we only have a month left, then that means we will be in before March! yay! I really hope so.
School really sucks. My chemistry class is really hard. He doesn’t explain anything! Just expects us to know how to do it all. I hate it. Everybody in all my classes stares at me like they have never seen a pregnant woman before, and it makes me feel fat. Maybe that’s what they think. That I am really fat. The chairs are uncomfortable, and walking hurts my pelvic bones and back. I have to go from the first to third floor on MWF. It sucks. Take the elevator you say? It’s so slow and always crowded and I would end up late for class if I waited on it, causing even more people to stare at the belly. Siiiiiiiggghhh!
Kadence is finally talking more. I was wondering when she would. Dadoo, DaDa, Dado (not to be confused with dadoo), was’that? Uh oh, mama, mommy, bye bye, baby, and my personal favorite, peeza (or pizza if u will). Every time she speaks I just want to squeeze her cuz it’s so darn cute! Oh my lil poop a doo.
Ok so I saved the best for last. You probably know that Blaine and I plan on getting a dog (and a kitty) when we move into the house. Personally, I am not a big dog fan. They bark, they poop the yard up and u/ur kids/ur visitors step in it, then bring it in the house, they have really smelly farts, and worst of all, and I know you women feel me here, they freaking sniff your crotch!! That is so embarrassing is it not? Anywho, the deal is, if I get a kitty (and a bunny, lol) then he gets a dog. So I said, well it has to be a good, well bred dog. Not some mutt off the street. We discussed Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Huskies, etc. We want a big dog to scare bad people away and protect the kids. Yesterday my friend that will live by us said her great dane was pregnant. They had bred her with another great dane, so they were going to sell the puppies for about $350 or so. I asked if she would sell us one cheap and she said yeah. I looked them up, big big dogs, great with kids, rarely bark etc. I said ok then that’s what we will get. Then Erica pointed out that though meaning well, they may knock the kids down and hurt them, and plus they are dumb as well, lol. I can’t have that with babies around, so I looked in the paper last night. And man what a find. AKC boxer pups. 7 weeks old, shots, wormed, and tails clipped. I had a boxer when I was growing up. Great dog. The people across the street from where my mom lived raise them and sell them for about $350 each. There were some other adds for boxers, $300-600 bucks. BUT the ones I found, $175!!!! I was like "I want I want" (insert childish fit here). So I called em up today, they have 3 males and 2 females left. The parents are not related, so they are not inbred. I was telling Michael about it because his rott Bugsy died in July while he was overseas, and he’s been pretty sad about it, plus if we got it, we would need a place to keep it until we move. He has 2 acres, and a giant fenced off area for his dog. Well the chick emailed me some pics, and since my school money isn’t in yet, Michael is paying for ours, and he is getting one too.  We picked a female because we wanna breed ours and sell the puppies later on. Michael wanted a male. This will leave them with 2 males left and 1 female if you know anyone who may want one. They live in a place called Smithville, Ok, but they can meet in Poteau or Ft. Smith, or Mena cuz that’s where the lady works. So you have some options. And boy let me tell you, if we already had our income taxes, I’d buy them all and sell them for $350, making twice what I paid. Dang those W2’s!!! Anywho, I got some pics, but only one dog will be left of the pictures I have. One was already sold, and 2 are going to us. Help me pick a name!!!

The female on the left is sold, the male in the middle is going to be Michael’s, and the female on the right is one they have still.

This is the same female on the right up there, the one that is still available.

This is ours! She looks so mean, lol....I can’t wait until Saturday to meet her

Our House

So...yesterday Blaine and I went to have a look at our house. As soon as we pulled up, some lady in her early 40’s came out of her house from next door, and pretty much ran us down. She was like, "Omg are ya’ll gonna be our new neighbor’s? Blah Blah Blah blah blah...." This is the first look we have had of the house since they started it, and we really wanted to look at it, but she followed us all over the entire thing. Talking about everything you could imagine: her name, her husband’s name, their 4 kids names/ages, all the neighbors names, their ages, what they do, who smokes in the neighborhood, who don’t, who goes outside to smoke, what day the trash runs, how nice the mail lady is, what time the mail runs, the school bus runs, blah blah blah. I wanted to choke her before we got through the first bedroom. She started going on about how we should make sure they put the plug in’s where we want them because she didn’t like where they put hers, and that I should make them put 2 shelves in our laundry room because they will only put one, and trust her we will need 2 shelves!!!

I am seriously going to dislike this lady. I mean, I told her flat out that we were just thankful to be getting house, and weren’t going to be picky about plug in’s or shelves. If we want another shelf, we can buy it ya know? I mean I don’t know if she realizes it or not, but ANYONE can buy a shelf at a hardware store and put it up. You don’t have to have a special license for it...lol. Really I appreciate her coming over and being nice, but I don’t need to know every detail of hers or anyone else’s life. I can tell she thinks we are going to be best friends, but ummm I don’t want to be her friend. She is old enough to be my mother. Oh she also told me she don’t work because she has some kind of arthritis, and her husband works at Trane, but he is laid off right now, and she cleans houses in her spare time.....I could probably write a book about her life from the 20 minutes I talked to her. And she tells me that she has been in our house everyday..what??

I mean I realize it doesn’t have walls yet, and anyone could be all up in there, but why? That just creeps me out. Seriously! We aren’t going a darn place for our anniversary, we are buying a dang privacy fence with income tax. Forget all that. UGH....Anyways, I went back today to take some pictures so you guys could see the progress. There are no inside walls, so just try to imagine it, lol.....

This is it folks!!!! I know it isn’t much now, but think of what it will be.

Front porch with door and living room windows
This is the living room, and there is the dry wall for the walls!!!

This will be the girls room. I wanted them to have the bay windows since it gives a little bit more room.

This is from inside the girls room. Directly in front is their closet, and beyond that you can see where their bathroom will be.

This will be Brycetons room.

This is the view of the kitchen/dining room from the living room. that oval shape will be a bar with tile flooring underneath.
This is a view of our room from our bathroom and you can see through to the kitchen/dining room
My favorite thing ever about the house. MY, and yes I said MY bathtub. This sucker is costing us $1500 out of our income tax. There is some nasty stuff in it, but ya know, there’s like no walls or ceilings, so that happens. I cannot wait to use it!

Blaine’s shower. Man it’s big enough for 2 people easy. And it has a little seat in it to get those hard to reach places....

This is our muddy back yard. See that house back there in the background on the left? That’s where my friend is going to be living. So our kids can cross a field to get to each other to play!!

The back door, which is in the dining room...

The laundry room which is between our room and the garage. Pretty spacey.

The garage again but it’s kinda hard to see....

A view of the garage from the living room. That is dry wall leaning against the frame

And that is it! Well let me know what you think. We are happy with everything but the drainage ditch beside us, and the nosey lady on the other side, lol.......I’ll take some more pictures when they get more stuff done. Shouldn’t be too much longer now.
