Ha ha! The fair always reminds me of Charlotte's Web, and honestly always leaves me feeling a bit like Templeton after he gorges himself on all the left over fair food. I cannot help but want to eat all the tasty, terrific smelling, food! Last night all together we had Pizza, caramel apples, cotton candy, hot dogs, fried cheesecake, corn dogs, pickles, chips, BBQ beef sandwiches, nachos, and tons of soda! Sadly no funnel cake though :(
We won 2 fish and bought a third, which have since all 3 died :\
We haven't taken the kids to the fair since 2008. Olivia was just a few months old and Isabella wasn't too much older.
The kids had a good time but it was very crowded and lots of standing in line. We were hesitant to put Olivia on the rides at first but the first ride the kids rode she sat out and she cried (so did Isabella who was on the ride, lol) so we did the little train next and she enjoyed it. I squeezed into a tiny pink flying elephant with her. I had to get help to get out haha! Isabella got scared and stuck on a fun house so I went in after her. It was the kind that has the dizzy spinning tunnel at the end, and she wouldn't go or walk so we both ended up falling down in it and couldn't get up. Everyone standing there waiting for their kids enjoyed that! The guy had to stop it so we could get up lol.
The last thing we rode was the tilt-a-whirl and Isabella cried the first time but not the other 2 and Olivia LOVED it. Absolutely loved it. It was so cute to see her laughing and squealing. Also to see her waving from the kiddie rides saying "Hi momma, hi daddy" She has just grown so much.
It was a great time as a family and something we wouldn't have gotten to do on a weekday with Blaine's other job. Thank goodness he was off last night and tonight :) We are just so blessed.
Isabella hanging on for dear life on the very first ride and then her red, tear streamed face, lol

I'm loving your blog! It looks like you guys had an awesome time! I can't wait to take our girls! alyssa loved it last year!!
