A lot of Lotts: Ahhhh Vacation!

The kids and I had a nice suprise vacation last week in Springfield, Missouri. Blaine had to go there for a few days to finish some classes and get his own truck! No more training, yay!

Well I thought we couldn't afford to go up there and get a hotel and food and gas ya know? So I was SO bummed. He got there last Friday the 1st and got put into a room. Well I was thinking, why should we have to pay for a room when he is already in one, then I thought, well gas. I thought it was like 6 hours away but I mapquested it and saw it was only 3 and half hours. This was at 8 pm haha! Then I realized well because of Memorial Day he didn't get his check direct deposited until the next Monday, which really doesn't make any sense to me since he usually gets paid on Friday, but whatever so I was like CRAP!

But my dear buds Tiffany and Travis gave me money to go up on Friday and they just took it out of the bank Monday when his check came. So thanks to them for that and letting us borrow their air beds for the kids, we were able to go surprise Blaine. He didn't even know we were coming!!! It was great!

We thought we would only be staying for 2 or 3 days but we actually ended up getting to stay a whole week! We all had a blast. We went to the zoo, ate out, the butterfly gardens, chick-fil-a 's family fun night, the mall, Bass Pro Shop, eating some more, and mostly the salt water pool!

We all got a great tan haha. We have only spent time with Blaine once since late February so we were all very happy and thankful that we got to spend so much time together. On days Blaine had class we just stayed at the pool or watched tv in the room. We were very upset we had to miss Vacation Bible School at Lavaca , we were all looking forward to that but spending time with Blaine has a family was worth it. New Life has one at the end of June so we will be going to that one.

Anyway after spending the week there and seeing all the things to do and the places to eat (places we don't even have in Arkansas at all!!!) It made me want to move there. We would have to rent and we wouldn't be able to build or buy a home for several years but I think it would be worth it. I am just taking this time right now to pray about it before we decide anything but I am going to go ahead and look for a place. It is a scary thought to be away from the place I grew up and where the kids have grown up and move where I do not know the area or anyone but Blaine's headquarters are there and he seems to drive close to there often. It would be nice if his truck needed repairing or he needed to take a class and he would have a home to come to there and not a hotel room. And it's only 3 and half hours from my friends so we could always visit each other. Just thinking heavily about it and praying for sure. Who knows what will happen. Anyway thanks everyone who helped me and the kids get to be with Blaine and have a nice peaceful vacation :)
