Kadence's First Birthday

Well her actual birthday was the 19th (Thursday) but we had her party Saturday so everyone could be there. And like everything else in my life, nothing went according to plan, lol. FIRST, Friday we went to pick up a few last minute things, and the bank said we had zero dollars, even though we deposited almost 600. It didn’t go through until the next day. Then I went to a few places to get her balloons blown up, and they either didn’t do it, or wanted to charge an arm and a leg. Finally Wal-mart said they do it for .25 a balloon, BUT there were 60 balloons ahead of ours. We didn’t have time for that. I got the cake while I was there, and they forgot to give me the little cake for her to tear up.

We got to Chuck E Cheese’s about 1:15, and these people were looking like they were leaving, loading up stuff. But nope. Just sat there for over an hour watching us wait for a table. We finally got one table, and then had the managers ask them to move their stuff off the other table since they weren’t using it. Several people came. It was a good time. Couldn’t get the kids to sit down for pizza, presents, or cake, lol. Kadence had her little cake ( I made Blaine pick it up) and made a huge mess. Blaine and I played some skee ball, and I played a little light thing and won the jackpot, 197 tickets on that! We got about 650 tickets before we left and I used them to get Bryceton and Madison something.

We came home and Jodi, Josh and Kiah came over. It was fun. He is so cute! Blaine held him and he started to cry. We hope to hang out with them again soon. Then Blaine’s grandma wanted to take him shopping for his birthday since she couldn’t be here. Blaine got some boxers and a Vans hoodie. We came home and Blaine got me a burger. We watched American Beauty and went to bed. It was a tiresome day. Then today I went to the library to do my research paper that’s due tomorrow, lol. Anyways I took tons of pictures, so sorry if it takes a while to look at them.
