So
it’s been a very very busy weekend so far. We got our taxes back on
Friday, and it was on like donkey kong! First we deposited 1500 in the
bank to cover our overdrafts and for me to use for paying the online
bills. Then we went to get the insurance, and well let me just say that
it was WAY more than I expected, so we aren’t going to get to do all
the things we wanted to with the money. See we have to pay the first
year of our house insurance before we can close on it, then someone
else, I have no idea who, pays it the rest of the time. Well to get the
full loan amount we did, we needed a cheaper insurance quote than 700
dollars. So we found this place that said if we moved our vehicle over
with it, the insurance just for the house would be 358 a year. And our
Blazer would be something like 80 a month. When we got there the agent
was like, no I had you quoted for life insurance, car, and home. I was
like huh? So he conned me into life insurance. Blaine has a policy
through his work, but it’s only 20,000. I didn’t have any. So now if I
die, Blaine gets 112,000! So if anything mysterious should happen to
me, ya’ll call the police, lol.
They also said if I get a terminal illness, I could have half of the money upfront (before I die) to do what I want with, like a big going away party!! A vacation, whatever..I thought that was cool. I really wish my mom had gotten to do something cool like that. I bet she would have went to Vegas or something. Anyways, back on track. For one year house insurance, 6 months life, and 3 months car it was $700! I almost pooped my pants. Then I took Blaine to work, and I went to Greenwood to check on the house, and pay the 1500 for my tub. They were doing the floors. I guess they got behind when it snowed. She told me they will do clean up Sunday, and we will do our walk through Monday, and close 1 week later. So we get to move in to our house for our anniversary present. Well a day after anyways. Yes that is right for those of you who don’t know, next Sunday, the 18th, is our one year wedding anniversary!!! Yay! Ok so after I left there I stopped at Wal-mart in Greenwood to see if they have the baby bed set I want because the one’s here didn’t and it was out of stock online. And by gosh they had it. So I got that and some stuff to decorate the kids rooms when we move. Then I met Sheryl here and we went to Fayetteville while Kadence screamed the whole way. That was fun. I don’t know why but she hates being in her car seat. Most kids love to ride and fall asleep fast. She’s so weird. We went to the mall, and shopped around a little bit, then went to Target because I wanted to get this rainforest baby swing. I already have a really awesome swing, the ocean wonders one, but the rainforest one is almost just like it BUT it can take batteries OR plug in the wall. So we never have to buy batteries. I am going to sell my ocean one in a garage sale. It kinda saddens me because my mama bought that for me when I was pregnant with Madison, and I hate to get rid of anything that has to do with her, but we need the extra money. Plus why have 2 swings? And I would just sell it after Isabella grew out of it anyway. I also got something I have wanted with every child but could never afford. A video monitor. You know it has the little tv so you can watch your baby!!! It’s awesome and I can’t wait to try it out. And I can always use it later on to spy on the kids with they have a boyfriend/girlfriend over, hee hee......I also got Madison and Kadence matching shirts that says "Everyone loves a blue eyed girl" I thought they were cute. I got Isabella a onesie that is hot pink and says "Daddy does my hair" Hee hee. Now I just hope she has some hair. I picked up a few things for Erica, well because I love her and she is always there to listen to me bitch about anything, and talk about gross stuff with!! Came back to Ft. Smith and picked up Blaine. Then Sheryl and I left Kadence with him and went to Wal-mart. Man I really bought a bunch of stuff for the kids. They are so spoiled! I got Madison a princess bed set for her bunk beds we are going to get, a princess lamp, a rug, wall-paper, Fairy wishes Dora, Ariel beauty set, And some skirts and sandels for Spring. I got both the girls a disney princess jewelry box/cd player, and a princess cd to play in it. I got Poo Poo a telephone that talks, sings, makes animal sounds, and counts and stuff, a sleeping beauty baby doll from the disney store in Fayetteville, skirts and sandels. I got Bryceton a dinosaur that roars and walks and moves it’s head, a giant grave digger, a sports rug, nightlight, wall paper, and trash can for his room. Then I got them all 3 a cup at the Disney store. I found a plastic like coffee mug with Isabella’s name on it. Madison already has one, and they don’t make Kadence or Bryceton, though I did see Faith, but the only Kaleb was with a C, so they didn’t get one :( Blaine and I stayed up for a little while talking, Sheryl stayed the night because she had to be at a meeting at her work at 9:30. Then I lay on the bed and Blaine played with my hair until I fell asleep, all while playing World of Warcraft, lol. Least I got something out of it. Then we got up this morning, and I went and got my hair done. It took 2 hours! She highlighted it and darkened the rest at the same time. I got my eyebrows waxed then she trimmed the dead ends off my hair, but I didn’t want much off because I am trying to grow it out. Then I picked up Blaine and we went and got his hair cut. The first time he had it cut by someone other than himself or his mama in many years. He liked it though. We went to Sears and got our pictures made finally. I loved them! They won’t be in until the 22nd, but we got to take home 2 collages as part of our package, and I will post those here of course! If you want one, let me know and I’ll get them out as soon as I can. I haven’t even sent out the kids Christmas pictures, lol. I’m lazy. Then we grabbed some food and came home and watched Saw III. I didn’t like it. It was gross. I don’t like gross movies. Wednesday Blaine took a vacation day because we are meeting my step dad at the whirlpool employee sales so we can get a fridge for our house and go ahead and take it over there. That’s so awesome of him because we will get a brand new 1000-2000 dollar fridge for like 3 or 4 hundred, all because it might have a little scratch or dent somewhere, or a part missing that doesn’t even affect how it runs! And here I am...all typed out. Anyways That was our weekend, and right now I am tired and have a busy day of cleaning house tomorrow. What do you think of the pictures?
