It's Fall Ya'll!!!!

Well, almost!  I am looking forward to it cooling down but I really wish it wouldn't cool down too much. I like it just right. Shorts but not sweat.

Everything is going pretty well so far this year. The kids are doing great in school. Soccer has started. That's exciting but exhausting for me to do it all by myself. Some people really do not know how hard it is for me. Trying to be 2 sometimes 3 or 4 places at once (Like Orientation). Buying things for not 1 or 2 but FOUR kids. Helping 4 kids with homework. Waking up 4 kids. Getting 3 kids dressed. Brushing hair, tying ribbons and shoe laces. I know I am so blessed don't get me wrong, but it's very overwhelming doing it on my own. But I am REALLY praying for lots of patience and a sweeter disposition. I really don't want my kids to look back and remember me always in a bad mood or yelling. (yes I yell. With 4 kids you kind of have to).

Kadence's Birthday is coming up next month. We are planning the cutest Pirate Princess Party at Flame. It's seriously going to be so cute!

I turned 31 yesterday. It was a good day. My friend Jennifer took me to lunch and my friend Karan bought me a cake, then my friend Shanda brought me a gift basket over. Today my friend Sheryl took me to lunch. I feel very blessed to have some true friends. And it wasn't about buying me anything it was about going out of there way to make my day brighter when I was down because Blaine couldn't be here.

The kids are all loving their teachers. Bryceton is in band. That's exciting. I guess nothing else has really gone on. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Mother of the Year!!!

I think it's safe to say this year's award does NOT go to me ha! Seriously I haven't posted since February. I am so glad I didn't say I would do better because well, I didn't.

So 6 months of stuff in ONE post. Yikes. Let's start from now and work our way back.

1. Do not EVER EVER EVER buy any type of used furniture online. Beds, Dressers, Couches, Tables, Bookshelves. Just don't do it unless you know the person really well!

2. School started August 19th. Bryceton now goes to Middle School! 6th grade wow! I wish my mom could see him now. Kadence is in 2nd, Isabella in 1st, and Olivia started Kindergarten. Yay!!!

3. Summer was way rough with the kids 24/7 and no help. It seemed a lot harsher than last summer without Blaine :(

4. Madison came for 6 weeks. :) The girls just love it when she is here. I was pretty sad to see her go.  We had some amazing family pictures done by Samantha Daniels Photography. You can find her here!

5. We got to vacation in Missouri with Blaine while his truck was in the shop. We went to the zoo and the Fantastic Caverns. Expensive but neat.

6. Olivia is medicated and seeing a therapist. It is going okay for now.

7. My dad got married! And to a very good lady. I am feeling very blessed to have her around.

8. We got a hamster!!! ....and it died a couple of weeks ago :(

Hmmm not sure what else to really say for now. Everyone had a great first week. Everyone clipped up at least once. Isabella clipped up to red today (WTG!!!) I am looking forward to a busy year. And I promise, more blogs from me :)

Olivia's 5th Birthday

It doesn't even seem possible that my baby is 5 and will be starting Kindergarten in just a little over a month.  So amazing how fast they grow up. I remember having baby fever not too far back but I can tell you now, that has GONE, LOL!

Olivia has been a very difficult child right from the start (18 hours of labor!!!!) I honestly think she was God's way of saying NO MORE KIDS, because I can tell you after dealing with her 24/7 for the last 5 years I do not want any more kids ha! But seriously she can be so sweet. She loves to do things for me.I always thought she was just a stubborn kid but after getting into some therapy and seen by a doctor, we found out she is just a little high strung, hyperactive, manipulative, and unluckily for me, super smart. (Her IQ tested way above average for her age).

But now that she sees her therapist and is on medication to help her calm down, things are going a lot better.

We celebrated her big day just she and I. We had lunch at Fridays. Went to the mall to get her a special crown and sash, had some photo booth fun, and went to Hobby Lobby.

For her party we had to wait until daddy could come home. We had it at chuck e cheese. This time we went with a cookie cake (her idea) and it turned out fabulous!!! Lots of friends came and she won the 1000 ticket in the ticket blaster.

A few things about Olivia, she loves to talk! She will talk and talk forever. We have to remind her to take a breather. No idea where she gets that. Lol!  She loves to push buttons. Literally! On doors, in the car, wherever. She needs to be the one to push it. She looks so much like my mom. It's unreal. How I wish she could be here to see her little mini-me. From some stories I have heard she acts like her too :p Olivia loves Netflix and is better with a computer than I am lol. Her favorite color is pink. Her favorite food is cheese pizza or a hamburger with mustard and pickles only. Happy Birthday sweet Wiffy. We love you!

Isabella's 6th Birthday

So Isabella is 6 today! Wow how time flies. I started a thing last year where I go eat with the kids on their birthdays at school. I picked them up fast food and we just had a nice lunch. Blaine got to be with us for Bryceton's this year but not Kadence or Isabella. Olivia is cheated since her birthday is in July but I did have lunch with her one day at her school just to make up for it and next year I will as well.

On her actual Birthday we ate our food and I checked her out. We spent the rest of the afternoon just us. I even took her for ice cream :)

For her party we had it at Chuck E Cheese. I had special ordered her cake from Wal-mart. They had a beautiful Tinkerbell cake on display with flowers and a waterfall. I asked for it to be white instead of green and with rainbows and more flowers. We had our own toppers because she wanted it My Little Pony instead of Tinkerbell. When I picked the cake up I literally cried! It was SO awful. It looked like a 6 year old had actually made it. But the manager did refund me my money.

She had a great party though. Lots of friends came and they all had so much fun.

Some things about Isabella:
She still sucks her index and middle fingers backwards in her mouth.
She has to have her special Blankie she has had since she was a baby.
She twirls her hair when she is sleepy.
She loves to help people.
She loves to sing and dance.
She still carries little trinkets and such in purses or bags.
Her favorite color is blue.
Her favorite movie is Breaking Dawn part 2.
Her favorite food is steak with A1.
She loves animals and has a huge heart for them.

Her nickname is still Bird, Birdie, or Birdie Turdie. Happy Birthday sweet Isabella. Momma and Daddy love you.

Bryceton's 12th Birthday!!!!

I really cannot believe that I am the mother of a 12 year old! Doesn't seem like I am old enough for that. I remember bringing him home from the hospital. 9 pounds 3 ounces of sweetness. I remember thinking it wouldn't be that hard. I remember my mom crying when he was born. I remember thinking how I had changed my mind about birth, lol.

Anyway 12 years later and I have quite the handsome son! He is such a great kid. Super smart. Loves to read and video games. He's into Angry Birds, Star Wars, and Minecraft. He would rather spend all day on YouTube than outside playing. He plays soccer and will start band in the fall. He helps me out around the house and he does some of the more manly things I don't like to do like take out the trash or kill spiders/bugs. He helps with his sisters and is way more quiet than they ever are! He really is just awesome!

He said he didn't want a party this year but we ended up somehow having one anyway lol. He had a couple of friends over and we ate pizza and cake. Hard to believe next year I will have a teenager. Here are some pics from when he little and from his party this year :) Happy Birthday sweet boy.

100 Days Smarter!

From a month into school to 100 days. I think it is safe to say I fail at blogging. It just seems a million other things take precedent over blogging. I could say I will try to do better like I always say. Let's just face it though, I probably won't haha!

So Wednesday January 30th was Bryceton, Kadence, and Isabella's 100th day of school! I cannot believe it is already 2013 and in a few short months I will have a 6th grader! Just when I thought it would be great to have all of the kiddos in one school, Bryceton will up and leave for Middle School. Crazy! Seems like only yesterday he was running around dimples and curls everywhere ;)

I started making shirts for the girls 100th day back when Kadence was in preschool. This is the 3rd year and I think it has become something of a tradition. The past 2 years we did buttons (100 on each shirt!) This year we went a little more girly with jewels. Next year I'd like to try something else but these shirts can be used again also. *Note - Bryceton does not like to participate in this tradition, lol

The classes get to have 100 day parties and spend the day playing games and snacking so I made some really cute cupcakes I saw on Pinterest. Olivia's 100th day is tomorrow and I made some for her class too. The kids really enjoyed them and I know her class will as well.

So here are a couple of pics from the 100th day. I will add Olivia's tomorrow :) Enjoy.

Dirty 30!!!

Ugh!!!! It is official. I am 30. I have dreaded this day for 10 years and I totally bawled as soon as the clock struck midnight :( I mean, I don't FEEL 30. And I don't think I LOOK 30. I definitely do not ACT 30!!

I celebrated all month long with various activities and people. Jennifer and I went and got piercings together (my lip, her nose). I went to eat with Sheryl and other friends. Blaine took me shopping and to get my nose pierced. I had cake and cupcakes. The Saturday before Tiffany, Sheryl, my sister and I went to Fridays and then Tiffany and I headed to the cowboy. I think that was definitely my best night ever haha! We had a total blast just being ourselves. I told everyone I was turning 21 and even wore a crown that said 21. I danced, Tiffany laughed and we just enjoyed it. Now that it has passed it doesn't seem so bad :p On my actual birthday I hung out with Jennifer, Giselle and some other people. My first trip to Buffalo Wild Wings and it was a blast!!!

Here's pics throughout the week :)
